HGJTC Opens Third Season
The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company, kicked off it's third season with Sholom Aleichem: Laughter Through Tears - starring Theodore Bikel at the Winter Garden Theatre, and the reviews are in -- it was another hit!!
Following up their second season, which garnered a Dora Award Nomination for their production of Kindertransport, this year they present three productions, Theodore Bikel: Laughter Through Tears, Talk by Michael Nathanson, directed by Ted Dykstra, and The Soul Of Gershwin, The Musical Journey of an American Klezmer - in collaboration with Show One and by special arrangement with National Jewish Theater.For more information, tickets and/or to donate visit: The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Homepage.

Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company
The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company in Toronto is a brand new theatre company that will be focusing on illuminating humanity through a Jewish perspective, by inviting artists and audiences to participate in live theatre, the meeting place of all the arts. Their inaugural season begins February 29th, 2008 at The St. Lawrence Centre For The Arts in downtown Toronto with the production of Rose.

Avery Saltzman
Known as one of Canada's most versatile character actors Avery has been acting professionally for almost 30 years. He started his career at the Shaw Festival in "Lady Audley's Secret" and from that show acted in every major venue across Canada and in Toronto itself.
Now entering into a new phase in his career as co-artistic director of Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company along side co-artistic director David Eisner.
